NDIS participants
Creative sessions for NDIS participants
Sue welcomes NDIS participants to her classes and also runs dedicated one-to-one and small-group sessions. Zentangle® is a gentle, low-pressure creative activity – there's no right or wrong, no erasing, and every session moves at the participant's pace. Support workers, carers and family members are always welcome to join in.
Sessions can suit self-managed and plan-managed participants. Get in touch and Sue will talk through what would work best, including timing, setting and any supports needed.
Focus and fine motor skills
Simple, repeated strokes build hand control and sustained attention without pressure or performance.
Calm and self-regulation
The unhurried rhythm of tangling helps settle a busy or anxious mind – many participants describe it as meditation with a pen.
Connection and confidence
Group sessions build social confidence gently, and everyone finishes with something they made themselves.
Adapted to each person
Session length, group size, materials and setting are shaped around each participant's needs and support requirements.
